OZ UPDATE: FROM GRAEME MARSH

They really should have called them the windy mountains....as that is something they have in abundance !!!!

Fresh snow has hit us here with around 30-40 cms in the past 24 hours and more to come (another 30 -40 this week!!!). The high winds with it have made for some great skiing tarnished by limited lifts running however there has been some nice powder to be found and it has given cover to areas that were sorely in need of some !!!!

The resort has been very busy this week with the Sydneysiders hearing of the snow and arriving wilderbeast like armed with their '80's skis and ski fashions !!!! And if ever proof was needed, fluro is alive and well in Australia, and Nevica could start all over here as the one piece Nev suit is still to be seen around the mountain usually on some billy busy chatting away in a 100 kph wind on his mobile phone !!! (very a la Trigger Happy TV)

So for any of you in need of a few quid get in the loft and dig out those old rear entry boots, straight Kastle skis and an old pair of swimming goggles and get them on the plane pronto !!!!!
