OZ UPDATE: FROM GRAEME MARSH

16 July 2001

Ever wish you were somewhere else ????

Giving away my national identity by flying off my stool when Jason when over for a try on Saturday didn't seem like a bad idea at the time, however an hour or so later I joined all the rest of us "Poms" in yet another loss to the Aussies..

But I did seize the opportunity to show we could still knock the odd beer or two back. So Saturday was a lively one in Banjo's....

Anyway back to skiing....

Weather has been hit and miss of late although it has turned colder and we've had snow showers/rain throughout the past few days, lifts are opening throughout the resort the current count around 35-40 throughout perisher Blue, terrain wise though there isn't yet a great deal of really exciting skiing around, we need a good dump to cover those rocks and open up the more
exciting stuff !!!

Best bets for the more tricky stuff is still over at Blue Cow, but fingers crossed there are already rumours flying of big snow to come !! I sure hope so.....

Until then I'll keep the faith. Have fun all, I'll let you know when we get hit......
