Well what's happened
is the weirdest thing .. first of all OZ gets buried
under feet of fresh snow waaaaay before they normally
do, and we get hit with big heaving rain showers and
NW (ie warm) winds.
Thredbo
has more snow that I have _ever_ seen there and it's
still dumping, -6C in the town centre. Of course the
sun will come, it will melt and they'll be back to
square one
In NZ It's not pretty. Before you look at the webcams,
please be aware it could be painful, the sight of
grass and rain in June is not a good omen.
It
might snow today actually, I believe it's turned southerly
and it's definitely cooling down, I came to work this
morning in a T shirt on my bike! Winter eh? ..
