After the match we obviously had a hard drinking session in Dunedin were we ended up in a bar called ombrello's which turned out to be owned by the All Blacks! So we drink the night away with Jeff Wilson, Tana Umaga, Tony Brown and Justin Marshall it was truly amazing! After returning to the lovely party town of Wanaka we are greeted with week long parties to celebrate the Wanaka Snow festival! Including on Saturday night the Wanaka big air comp. Part of the inaugral Rip Curl World Heli Challenge with Pier Yves Le Blanc as favourite to win the title. To top it all off this weekend we have had the biggest snowfall of the season, with 30cm of fresh powder! Which has totally covered the whole mountain although sadly today the first casualty of the season with an avalanche in the basin taken one life. Not to tone down the report, were all looking for a great week of skiing, with next weekend signalling the start of my instructors exam! That's Jazz guys, so keep on having a great summer!
