Ski/Snowboard Patrol Courses

Our unique, all-inclusive Ski Patrol Courses provide all the skills and practical experience necessary to work in emergency response as a ski patroller anywhere in the world. Ski Patrol training can be taken independently or run alongside an instructor course.
Don’t be put off by the name – snowboarders make excellent patrollers too!

Ski/Snowboard Instructor Internships

Level 1 internships: Train and qualify as a ski or snowboard instructor at the start of the season and spend the rest of the winter working for the snow school! Internship placements are available in the following resorts.
Canada - Sun Peaks Resort and Panorama Mountain Resort (Start date November/December)
New Zealand – Queensland (Start date June)

Level 3 internships: Start the season teaching using your level 2 qualification, once you’re back in the swing of things begin training for your level 3. Level 3 Ski and Snowboard Internships are available in Queensland, New Zealand. Applications open for June 2016 start dates.

At The Winter Sports Company, we’re here to help – we offer free advice and guidance about the best options for you. Once you’ve qualified with us, we keep you under our wing until you’re ready to fly solo – you’ll be kept up to date with the industry and we do all we can to help you find a job.

Once you qualify you’ll have a certificate in your hand that enables you to work all over the world! Many of Winter Sports Company trained instructors have worked back-to-back seasons in New Zealand, Japan, Europe and Canada.
If you’re looking at doing a course during your gap year, we have experience placing our instructors during university breaks at Christmas and Easter – you’ll never have to pay for a ski or snowboarding trip again!

Crystal Cookery Course 2016

Crystal Ski

During your time on the course you will learn all the basics from identifying herbs and spices, knife

skills and endless cooking techniques. On top of this you will also learn food and kitchen hygiene and

safety knowledge, essential for future Chalet Hosts. You will also learn about menu planning, cooking

at altitude and catering for children and an array of dietary requirements.
