Natives | Chalet Cookery Course

Our very own, well established and up to date Natives Chalet Skills and Cookery Courses have over the last 12 years helped many students secure their dream chalet jobs in the mountains through it’s unique application of both practical and knowledge sessions.

The residential courses are run by current ski season professionals and are held at St Teresa's School for Girls, based in 45 acres of grounds in the beautiful, rural setting of Effingham, Surrey.

This is a great location and an idyllic setting, with easy rail and road links. We have use of the cookery teaching facilities on site, plus areas for the students to relax. Including your own individual bedroom. There are extensive grounds and tennis courts to use and free Wi-fi.

We have 8 fully equipped kitchen work stations very similar to those you will find in a chalet, for our many practical sessions. You will, in a small team serve breakfast, afternoon tea, prepare, host and serve a 3 course chalet style evening meal with wine for up to 16 ’guests’. Knowledge sessions include everything you need to know about successfully running a chalet and getting the most out of your
winter season!

The course will teach you about Menu and time planning, dietary requirements, catering for children, budgeting, cleaning and actually shopping for ingredients.

Our course is for one week, ideal for anyone from beginner to an intermediate level and run as if you were actually working in a chalet. Although we can’t guarantee the snow, especially in the summer courses!

Increase your season job prospects. With many more people applying for season jobs, the Natives chalet skills and Cookery Course offers you a chance to stand out from the crowd. You can see more details, dates, cost and testimonials from previous course attendees at: http//
