“When it’s cold and snowing, others run inside, but Children of Winter do the opposite.” So says Max Bervy, director and producer of Children of Winter which will be touring more than 40 towns in the UK from 12 November until mid-January for this year’s Warren Miller Film Tour. We've got all the dates and locations here, and tickets will go on sale on 01 October.
The Warren Miller Film Tour is the world’s largest annual action sports film, wowing wintersports fans with groundbreaking footage and breathtaking action. Warren Miller’s Children of Winter, the world’s largest action sports film, “reaffirms that we’re lucky to know the shortest, coldest days of the year” (Bervy). Shot in crystal-clear high definition the film visits Leadville, Colorado’s legendary skijoring competition; follows teenage snowboard pro Ben Watts chasing surf legend Gerry Lopez on Mount Bachelor’s frozen waves; experiences the deepest powder in decades in Crested Butte and skis Iceland’s frozen coast - all accompanied by a soundtrack featuring high energy tracks from the likes of Radiohead, Michael Franti and Spearhead and Beck.

The film also showcases spectacular footage shot in Japan, Austria, British Columbia and Alaska with jaw-dropping performances by an impressive assembly of world-class athletes, including Jonny Moseley, Daron Rahlves, Gerry Lopez, and Wendy Fisher.
Children of Winter is Warren Miller Entertainment’s 59th feature film, adding it to the legacy of Warren Miller’s pioneering leadership in action sports cinematography.
