Located above the town of Meribel with easy access from the road or piste, this is a favourite venue with workers and holiday makers alike.

Fantastic restaurant for a special lunch without breaking the bank, sit inside cosy and warm on snowy days, or soaking up the sun on the terrace. The Petit Rondpoint downstairs serves chips and fantastic filled bagettes and once the weather gets warmer the outside bar opens for chips and beer straight off the piste, huddled under one of the fabulous terrace heaters.

Live music from 5pm until 7pm every night except Saturday makes this an après-ski haven - expect singing, dancing and even moshing and crowd diving (shibboleth nights!) in ski boots.

Must try: the toffee vodka, available by the shot or the bottle...
